Fangirl flailing here! I am SOOOOO happy because she finally posted chapter 20 of The Mountain and it is brilliant as always.

Hate me if you want to, this is by far the best quality fanfic I’ve ever read. I was never a fan of Gregor Clegane before I read this fic, so I’m not one to woobify the Mountain that Rides. Even those who don’t like Gregor can’t deny this fic is extremely well written and well thought out. They get a lot of hate for this fic because it’s about Gregor, but the criticism is unfounded. This is good stuff.

You could check out the Bolton Rising fic on their blog as well. It’s RP modern AU but really in character. If the Bolton part is too graphic, the Petyr/Sandor/Gregor/Alayne chapters could pretty much stand up as their own fic and are well worth reading. 

It’s just really refreshing to read fanfic that’s actually well written and to read about someone besides San/San constantly, although I do enjoy some good San/San. Just finished Broken Wing and that was another one worth the read!

Now if she will only get us chapter 21 before Christmas! <nudge nudge>
